    Want to thank you for taking the time to program this, I’ve been looking for something along these lines since 2010.

    However, I’m running into an issue. I’m able to use the controls with an active digitizer pen without any issue, but when I use touch on most controls, particularly any that need to be dragged, I get an unhandled exception whenever I take my finger off the screen.

    See the end of this message for details on invoking
    just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging=”true” />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    I can give you hardware information about the touch and pen digitizer if you like. Laptop is a HP TM2t-1000

    Hi, first of all, are you running Windows 8 ?

    So if I understand right, you have no problem with the pen, but have problem when it’s touch-based right ?

    I’m running windows 8.1, using Wacom’s tablet PC driver from September 2013. And that’s it, yeah. Interestingly, the program seems to run just fine when I continue execution.

    Might just be able to throw in an exception handler that does nothing. It’s just a duct tape fix, sure, but it may make it usable for me, in the meantime. 😛

    Hello.
    Please forgive me in advance for my possible mistakes in the text, I’m from Russia.
    The problem is the same as the author of this topic. Windows 8.1 Pro x86 on a tablet MSI 110W. Used Virtual Gamepad Freeware Demo. Every time I click the button in VirtualGamepad, POPs up a message that says: “object reference not set to an instance of an object”. Click “Continue” and press any button in VG leads again to this message. Tried to reinstall .Net framework and nothing helped. Also installed on the tablet “Hot Virtual Keyboard” and “Touch Mouse Pointer”, and I was closing them before running VG.
    Have any ideas?
    Thank you in advance.
